Counselor’s Corner

Routine is essential for students. The following are suggestions for you and your family to enjoy.

EAT HEALTHY!

  • Start each day with a healthy breakfast

GET ORANIZED

  • Being organized not only leads to success, but it may reduce stress as well.
  • Make homework a priority in your home.

GET PLENTY OF SLEEP!

  • Establish a regular bedtime.
  • Build consistent wind-down activities into bedtime routines (reading, journaling, talking, etc).
  • Jaguars should get 10 -12 hours of sleep each night. Inadequate sleep can result in mood swings, behavioral problems, and cognitive problems which impeded learning.

Please call, (225 355-0346), to schedule an appointment to discussed any social, emotional, or academic concerns you may have for your child. Together, we can’t support your child doing stressful situations and transitions.
