Learning through experience is the foundation of the Montessori Learning Method, a nationally recognized education program. The primary goal of the program is to help children reach their full potential socially, emotionally, and physically.

The academic magnet program provides an accademically challenging and enhanced curriculum that nutures a genuine love for learning and develops the creative and intellectual abilities of our students. The rigorous course offerings cultivate minds, develop character and prepare students for life.

What’s Happening in the Magnet Programs
Magnet Application Period – October 13, 2016 – December 5, 2016

Call Mrs. Noi Mills at 225-383-4876 to schedule your appointment for a magnet program tour. Tours will be concducted October 31st through January 31st between the hours of 9:00 and 11:00 AM.
Academic magnet screening for grades K through 5 will begin February 2017 and will continue until the first ten days of the 2016-2017 school year or until all seats are filled.
Magent students performed a play entitled Big Bad Wolf vs Curly Pig by Dee Scallen on May 19, 2015.
Periodically, magnet students harvest produce from our Montessori gardens and host a market day for our parents and faculty.
